AI & call recording notice
This notice explains what callers can expect when a business uses an AI Voice Assistants AI assistant, and how our own demonstration calls work.

You are told it is AI
The assistant says at the start that it is an AI assistant. It does not pretend to be a person.
You can ask for a person
You can ask for a person at any time. Urgent, sensitive or uncertain matters are passed to the business under handover rules it approves. The assistant is set up not to give prices, refunds, availability, legal, medical or financial conclusions, or guarantees unless the business has approved that information.
Recording, transcription and summaries
These are three separate things. Each business decides which it uses, and callers are told at the start when any is turned on.
Call recording is not currently turned on for our own demonstration line. Transcription is not currently turned on for our own demonstration line. AI call summaries are not currently turned on for our own demonstration line.
A voice recording is personal information. It is handled in line with the business's retention rules and our data processing agreement with that business.
Whose notice applies
When you call a business, that business decides how your information is used. We act on its instructions. Its privacy notice explains your rights. For our own demonstration calls, our privacy notice applies.
Outbound calls
We only make AI demonstration calls that someone has specifically asked for using our callback form. We do not make unsolicited AI marketing calls.
